In Pardon My Heart, the familiar lovelorn nayika gets reimagined — she's a bit more melodramatic, and speaks in contemporary verse.

in the Sunday program, Parijat is supported by a fantastic ensemble of musicians, and dances out the longing to a score featuring Ravi Shankar's "Chaturang Tarana." Verse by American poet Marcus Jackson and legendary Pakistani reformer Faiz Ahmed Faiz (translation by Kashmiri poet Agha Shahid Ali).
